Reason #657 not to vote for Bush

Why are people not more afraid of Bush and his cronies?? Why would you keep science hidden? I understand the need for a debate about the ethical implications of some scientific research, but I can't accept the fact that you would keep the research from happening in the first place, or worse yet only having research done by those that would be willing to support your point of view. Scientific research is the closest thing we will ever have to objective decision making. Who the hell cares about being objective anymore?
